Joy received her yoga certification in 1995 at the Kripalu Center in Lenox, What drew her to this school was the emphasis on “working at your own pace”, “trust your body’s wisdom”, “refrain from anything that’s not feeling safe or comfortable”.
She teaches a gentle, meditative form of yoga with enough intensity for strengthening and developing greater balance.
